Sourceforge and OpenID

Ok. So I just had to register a bug today in the SoapUI maven-plugin.
-"Oh, look they use OpenID"
I said to myself. How nice. That means I only have to get an OpenID and log in, right? Well, yes and no.
Of course Google must use OpenID... Well, indirectly by using Blogger.com and registering with my Gmail-adress. Fine.

Back to Sourceforge. Log in with OpenID. Ok I'm in. What the f...
Now I had to register a complete SF profile anyway!? So then why bother with an OpenID?? Beats me...
